FABRIC SELECTIONFabric is separated into: 1. Woven Cotton~ not advisable for internal layer next to baby's skin- for outer layer only. 2. Velour ~ luxurious against babies skin. 3. Fleece ~ contains water-resistant qualities, therefore suitable as a 'stay dry' layer and therefore keeps baby's skin dry. 4. Microfleece ~ as fleece but thinner so perfect for use as an inner layer to keep the baby's skin dry and keep the nappy trim. 5. Cotton Knit (suitable for both internal and outer layers. 6. PUL ~ waterproof outer material suitable for wraps and outer layer of AIOs. 7. Burley Knit Terry ~ Burley Knit Terry (suitable for boosters as it is highly absorbent and does not stiffen on washing and drying as ordinary woven terry (i.e. towel material) does. this is not as trim as hemp. 8. Hemp fleece ~ great absorption, suitable for boosters and nappy, can be a little hard as an inner layer against skin. Hemp requires at least 2 to 3 pre-washes before it starts to become absorbent, and it's natural absorbency will keep increasing up to the first 10 or so washes. NOTE: All of the fabrics below are bought in limited quantities to ensure greater selection. As a result, your choice cannot be guarenteed. While most plain colours can be re-ordered, many patterned fabrics cannot. WOVEN COTTON VELOUR
